Using Activity
(Select your language using the flags below if required)
If Appleโs daily spinning activity rings do not work for you because every day is not the same, then HeartWatch Activity is your answer! We created a new smart activity tracker to better guide your health. HeartWatch analyses your long term activity data and understands your trends and habits, because days and goals shouldn't always be the same to create a healthier you.
Research and common sense all indicate that you need to repeat a behaviour over a period of time to form a new habit, be it 21 days, 12 weeks or 6 months. To then improve that habit, you need to gradually increase (or sometimes decrease if doing too much) your goals rather than aiming for the same target everyday. HeartWatch Activity has been designed exactly for this habit tracking, automatically recommending move, step & distance goals based on your individual results and goal level to monitor your habit changes. Believe it or not but if you are actually ahead of your habit goal HeartWatch may even start decreasing some of your targets to stay in zone, its that smart! Whatever your fitness level is, HeartWatch will do the rest and guide you on your journey, its then all in your hands (or on your wrist we should say). What are you waiting for?
Activity Tiles
With HeartWatch Activity tiles, your targets will automatically update every minute of the day! It can even forecast your activity depending on how your tracking during the day. HeartWatch lets you see your activity across seven views, what we refer to as tiles, all accessible from the Today view. These tiles include Character, Forecast, Move, Steps, Distance, Weight and Waist Circumference.
Tip - you can select which Activity tiles you would like to see via the Settings HeartWatch Tiles option
Fitness Habits & Activity
Activity tiles such as Move, Steps and Distance can also be followed in Fitness Habits as seen in the HeartWatch News tab. They link together and use the exact same concepts, however Fitness Trends makes it easier to follow your progress over time while the Activity tiles are more about that specific day. "Stay above the white line" is all you need to target in this!
Character & Rings Tile
This is a unique little character you can customise that helps you meet and monitor your Watch's activity goals
Your character tends to start the day a bit out of sorts, but your movement quickly gets him or her into "super" shape
The Character tile has quite a lot of functionality, including customisation, taking images, a now/forecast view and even activity ring updates
Character Customisation
To personalise your character more (even with sunglasses), tap the cog in the top right of the Character tile. This will open the character customisation options. Personalise as much or little as you like following the options
Once all setup and ready, you can even take images and send them to your contacts from within HeartWatch by tapping the camera icon on the Character tile
Forecast Tile
Based on your smart activity goals already setup in HeartWatch (instructions for setting up in below Goal sections), the Today's Forecast tile will predict your end of day move, steps and distance based on how you are tracking today using your historical trends.
By tapping the tile, it will even show a forecast for tomorrows targets! This is great for pre-planning and understanding where your goals may be moving in advance.
Touch and hold the tile to be directed to the Dashboards, with Activity pre-loaded and ready to view.
Forecast - Thinking
Sometimes you may see three little faces on the Today Forecast view if your forecast is blank. This means that it still needs additional data to predict your forecast your day.

Open the Apple Watch app (looks like watch side on)
Select the Notifications option
Tap the Activity option
Turn off some or all of the options on this screen
In the example below, I like to still receive the Apple Challenges and Sharing Notifications, but all the others I disable as I prefer the automated goal and forecast alerts from HeartWatch.
